Kyle, a four year Varsity player and letter winner for the Wolves won back-to-back STATE DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIPS in 2004 and 2005. He was one of FIVE CBHS tennis players to be crowned a State Champ in 2005. Kyle was teamed up with Jeff Larson when he won the doubles titles in 2004 and 2005. In his Freshman and Sophomore seasons he finished as the state doubles runner up losing to Cut Bank teammates both times. In 2003 he and Larson lost the state title match to his brother Matt and Brian McDivitt. As a Freshman, Kyle teamed up with McDivitt and lost in the state title match to his brother Matt and Brandon Kavanagh. The match was a tough three setter. Kyle was a team Captain in his Senior season. Kyle went on and to a fine football career at Montana Tech. in Butte, Montana. Tech is a NAIA school participating in the Frontier Conference. The CBHS tennis coaching staff say, "Thank You Kyle!" and Welcome him into the Wolves' Tennis Wall of FAME! |
