Nate, a four year Varsity player and four time varsity letter winner for the Wolves was a three time ALL-STATE player. Nate finished 3rd at Divisional in singles his freshman season. When he was a sophomore he teamed up with Jordan Hoof and finished 2nd in doubles at the NW Divisional tournament and 5th at the state tournament. In 2010, as a junior, Nate teamed up with Jace Kimmet and they had strong finishes at both Divisional and State claiming the championships in both season ending tournaments. As a senior, he teamed with Dylan Johnston and repeated as Divisional Champions and once again played for the State Doubles title but finished 2nd to the same team he and Jordan defeated for 5th place in 2009. He was a team Captain in his junior and senior season and was awarded the Top Doubles Player award in 2010 & 2011. Nate was a strong team leader for the Wolves teams as he played with class and was a great example of Wolves Sportsmanship, Pride & Tradition. Nate also went on to become the Head Coach for the Wolves tennis teams in 2021-23. The CBHS tennis coaching staff say, "Thank You Nate!" and Welcome him into the Wolves' Tennis Wall of FAME! |
