In 2023 he resigned his paid position but continues to volunteer as an Assistant Coach to the tennis program. He is an alumni of the tennis program having graduated from CBHS in 2011. He was a three year letter winner and ALL Conference and All-State in his junior and senior seasons. Dylan was runnerup in the State Doubles Championship match in 2011 with his teammate, head coach, Nate Kavanagh and placed 5th in doubles his junior year. Coach Johnston went on to play football at Rocky Mountain College and returned to Cut Bank to work and coach.       QUOTE: "By failing to PREPARE, you are preparing to FAIL."
